profile_picture.jpgAshley Guité has always been interested in the medical sciences and began her Undergraduate career in Psychology and Neuroscience. However, due to struggles with her own health, she changed her path and began to investigate complementary holistic medicine and alternative health care. She began to implement what she had found in her own life and after observing the benefits of natural medicine for herself, Ashley wished to expand her knowledge in the field and share this information with others around her.

Ashley has since graduated from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine (OCHM) with her Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. She has also had the opportunity to study with renowned Homeopaths such as Dr. Rajan Sankaran, Dr. Linda Johnston and Frans Vermeulen throughout her educational career. At OCHM they strive for the highest level of Homeopathic training, with an intensive three-year program. During her three years at the college, Ashley completed over 1700 clinic hours, working with patients suffering from ailments of all kinds. There, Ashley gained much knowledge of different health issues such as cancer, diabetes, ADHD, hormonal disorders, menopause, and skin disorders, as well psychological disorders, which influenced her decision to specialize in depression and completing her thesis on this topic.

After graduating from OCHM, Ashley became a Professional Member of the Ontario Homeopathic Association (OHA), and returned as part of the OCHM faculty. Ashley is now a Clinic Intern for OCHM’s teaching clinic, where she works with the students beginning their 1700 hours of clinic training at the college. This faculty position allows Ashley to remain involved with OCHM, as well as providing an opportunity for her to continue to treat patients within Toronto who have followed her from the college’s teaching clinic after graduating along with her growing private practice here in the Niagara Region.
